Most black men would say the black woman is difficult to love. She has too much mouth, bad ass attitude, unsubmissive, too independent, won’t have sex enough, doesn’t want to cook……the list can go on and on.
“So how do you love the black woman?”
The black woman is a strong yet delicate creature. Hard strong shell on the outside…..delicate sensitive core on the inside. You may ask the question “how can that be?” If you really think about it….she loves just as hard as she does anything else. She’s loves despite what has been done to her. No matter what’s thrown her way, she deals with it and makes it work. The black woman is a praying woman. She’s prays for you even if you have wronged her.
Wearing many hats in a day can get tiresome. So please forgive her if she isn’t tactful at times. To get to know her is to love her. So let‘s be honest men, how many of you actually take the time to get to know the black woman? Not that many. Buying her gifts, taking her out to eat, on trips and/or giving her money to shop is great. Ladies definitely like that....doesn’t mean you know her…. just found some things she likes and wants. These things do make it easy to deal with her. I must not lie.
But what about getting to know what goes on in her mind as well. Family, work, church, home..., mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, girlfriend, friend, boss, employee, entrepreneur, lover...WOW what a long list! If you had all this going on wouldn’t you talk?
Sometimes the black women needs to vent…not complain. Sometimes she wants to get her mind together when she’s gets home…not be hit with what’s for dinner. Aren’t you tired when you get off? Why can’t she?
