Most people would say "That's impossible", "I'm not going to share" or "This is just an excuse to cheat". Well that could be true or it could just be a way a couple maintains balance in their relationship. The Risque Cafe will be interviewing a special guest within the next couple of weeks and she will tell you how she makes existing in an open relationship work.

"I'm thirty-one years of age and married to a gentlemen who is eighteen years older than me. We have been married for six years and have a three year old son. We have been in an open marriage for about two and a half years. Many people wonder how a couple can survive an open marriage. Believe me their are pro's and con's in an open marriage, but they really aren't any different from those in a monogamous relationship. One thing that the two individuals definitely have to realize and understand about this type of union; once Pandora's box has been open, it's extremely difficult to close it. So, I would definitely advise others to consider all possibilities emotionally, mentally,physically, spiritually, and intimately. "
